A Conversation, Long Over Due ....

I had a talk with you today .. The 2nd time since you came back 3 months ago
We talked about everything and nothing really ..
Serious family issues, my 1988 birthday video, how you're thankful that you're not a guy because you don't have to wax your legs, and the list goes on ..
We haven't had this kind of talk since 2005 ..
I asked you what happened and you said later on, that gave me hope; thinking that's good since you were planning on there being a next time ..
I re-learned what makes you so special in my life ..
Even though you were disconnected from me, in a way you were still there ..
I've told you that i thought "thank god u weren't there when she passed" but that wasn't true, I've never needed you more in my life than in that moment ..

The conversation started from nothing really, but it meant more to me than so many somethings ..
